Originally called "The Academy" our historic
building has also been a church, townhall private
theater and home to our antique and used
bookstore for fifteen years. Surrounded by cut
and faced stonewalls and shaded by 200 year old
maple trees, the setting would have inspired
Robert Frost. The original belltower still sits on
the roof. Alas the bell is missing, but that's
another story. Located in the Historic District of
the Village of Harwinton, Connecticut and listed
on The National Register of Historic Sites. We
have a perfect site for antiques and books. Come
browse in our shop and enjoy a piece of history.

Lavender Path Antiques has Expanded. We have
opened an additional storefront in the "Antiques
on the Farmington" antique mall, located in the
historic mill, the old Collinsville Axe Factory
building, 10 Depot St. (at rt. 179) in Collinsville,
Ct. Our shop there is filled with beautiful antique
china and the lovely linens that we were known
for, everything you need for gracious living and
entertaining. Custom decorator pillows, vintage
lighting, mirrors and more decorative items, plus
vintage clothing; our specialty is vintage lingerie
from all eras, wedding gowns, baby christening
dresses, and vintage 1st communion and flower
girl dresses . And of course, lots of vintage hats.
Look for us on the second floor of the building. At
the top of stairs, go left and to the very end of the
aisle, we are 2nd from the end on the left side.
